Questions and Answers about the 1-Day Love2Love Workshop
Who is the Love2LoveWorkshop for? This Workshop is PERFECT for couples getting married, newlyweds and married couples who are not struggling, but want to establish a solid foundation of communication and conflict resolution tools and skills.
How often is the Love2Love Workshop held? It's only held a four times a year. Please see the website "Calendar" for the best date for you and your mate or spouse.
What is the cost? The cost is $119.00 per couple. A $30.00 non-refundable deposit is required to be paid in advance to guarantee your seats. There are some discounts available that can be found under pricing
Are meals and hotel accommodations included in the registration fee? No. Meals and hotel accommodations are your responsibility. What meals will I be responsible for?
- Meals throughout weekend are on your own. All meals and snacks are at your own expense
- Snacks: Many hotels provide a snack and beverage counter, contact them to confirm. If you need or desire anything else, please bring them on your own for breaks provided throughout Workshop.
- Saturday Morning: On your own and at your own cost. Eat a sustaining Breakfast before arriving
- Saturday Lunch & Dinner: At your own cost. Will break for lunch and provide you with Instructions. Workshops end @ 6:30pm for you to arrange for your own dinner.
- Special Diets: If you need any special diet, please make sure to accommodate your special needs
What is the schedule for the Love2LoveWorkshop? When attending this Workshop, each person is required to participate for the entire Workshop. There is no availability to leave early or come late. The schedule is:
- Breakfast on your own – eat a sustaining breakfast prior to Retreat
- Workshop Registration Check-in: 7:45am-8:15am
- Workshop Begins/Ends: 8:30am-6:30pm
What if we are flying? The nearest airports in the Dallas/Fort Worth area are DFW International Airport and Dallas Love Field Airport. Please contact the airport or your hotel to determine how far the drive will be to and from the retreat facility or if they provide a shuttle service.
- Flight arrangements: If flying, book your flight to arrive at the Workshop facility prior to Saturday and your flight leaving no earlier than Sunday.
Do I have to attend the entire Workshop? Yes. The Workshop is not setup in “Sessions”.
My mate or spouse won’t or can’t come. Can I come alone or with someone else? No. You cannot come alone nor with anyone except your mate or spouse. Please contact the office if you need help in talking with your mate/spouse about the Workshop.
What is your cancellation policy? After you have registered and paid your deposit, the deposit is non-refundable. Any additional monies you have paid outside of the deposit are transferable to another date or couple. Once you have checked into the Workshop, no refunds are available for any reason.
Is this counseling? Are there Counselors there for us to talk to? No. This is not counseling. We often have counselors on our Team, but they are not available to talk with you before, during, or after the Workshop time-frame other than about the Retreat itself. We do have Counselors and Coaches that we can recommend to you for after the Workshop should you need help.
Will the Workshop help us? This Workshops intention is to create an avenue for you and your spouse to get away and spend time together. There is also skills and tools that are taught throughout the Workshop catered to the Workshop Topic. If you and your spouse are struggling or in a crisis, the better event to attend would be the CIR Couples Seminar. We have worked with thousands of couples who have been enriched by attending our Seminars, Workshops, Retreats, Coaching, Mentoring and Speaking. Should we attend if we are engaged? Yes. This Workshop is perfect for helping you create a marriage toolbox. You can attend the Communication and Conflict Resolution Workshops and together they are certified for Pre-Martial Education for the State of Texas.

Is this the same as the "CIR Couples Seminar"? No. The tools and skills taught in this Seminar vary greatly. Plus the Workshop is only 1 day and the CIR Couples Seminar is 2.5 days.
What is the benefit? It’s an opportunity for you and your mate or spouse to have time away from life’s stress and disruptions and focus on each other. It gives you the opportunity to focus on creating or improving your relationship. You each have the opportunity to listen and learn from experts give the gift of time to one another.
What do I do if we need to cancel? Contact the office 24 hours prior to the Retreat at 877.816.1007 or email@example.com. Although your deposit is not refundable, you can transfer your registration to another Workshop date OR to another couple and let them reimburse you or gift it to them. If you do not contact the office 24 hours prior to the start of the Workshop, no refunds are available.
Are children allowed in the facility or in any session? No. Though we understand the commitments of family, to keep your time away focused on you and as a courtesy to other couples, we do not allow those attending the Workshop to have any children in the Workshop or in the facility.
Is this a good Workshop for my church to attend or host on our own? Yes and Yes! This Workshop is a fantastic event for your church to attend. In fact, church groups of 30 or more receive a 10% discount. Or, if you prefer, you can contract with Creating Intimacy & Respect, Inc. for the Ensminger's to bring this Workshop to your own church and community (minimum 100).
